Location
Our estate is located in the heart of the Mecsek Mountains, in Kisújbánya. Tucked away at the end of the village, hidden behind a hill that naturally ensures privacy, you can enjoy your time here undisturbed. The estate is 30 km from Pécs and a little over two hours drive from Budapest.
The paved forestry road begins at Komló-Zobákpuszta and leads for 11 km through the forest to the village. As you travel along the winding road, the scent and quiet of the forest take over, bringing a sense of calm. Eventually, Kisújbánya reveals its enchanting beauty, with its neat cottages, chapel, and gently flowing stream, which you cross three times before reaching the most secluded house of this hidden village.
Estate
The estate spans 1 hectare, featuring a 80-square-meter farmhouse, a 90-square-meter barn, and a 90-square-meter covered panoramic terrace, all ready to welcome visitors.
Barn
The barn can serve as a dance floor or the venue for indoor activities, depending on the event. The covered terrace, with its stunning panoramic view, provides shelter from rain, ensuring that you won’t have to worry about the weather. Both the barn and the garden area can be used without interruption, even in the rain. The outdoor setup allows the event to take place in a natural atmosphere, while offering guests a comfortable and practical solution. The barn is illuminated with LED spotlights, creating a unified, bright space.
Parking
We provide parking facilities on the estate for our guests.
Accommodation Options
The farmhouse has three rooms, providing comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. The house includes two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove. An unlimited number of tents can be set up across the entire estate.
In 2025, we plan to set up 3 glamping tents on the site and create an additional room, allowing us to offer more accommodations. There are also other accommodation options available in the village, which will be included in a brochure after booking.
Garden
Located in the heart of the valley, the estate offers an ideal setting for outdoor events. The nearly 1,000-square-meter green area next to the barn provides opportunities for civil ceremonies, outdoor activities, and event hosting.
Chapel
An intimate church wedding can be held in St. Martin's Chapel, with the couple being accompanied by the soft melody of the renovated Angster organ during the procession. After the church ceremony, the newlyweds can even parade through the village, accompanied by a charming serenade.
Creative Photography
The estate, the surrounding forest, the gravel road leading to the village, the stream, and the chapel are all perfect locations for creative photography. These historical and nature-filled spots provide a romantic backdrop for photos, showcasing the beauty of the countryside and untouched nature.
